In her artistic practice, the artist explores the fragility of points of reference — the ways in which identity is shaped through expectations, social roles, and habitual structures, as well as the moments when these constructions fail (absurd!). Her interest is focused on states of displacement and loss of stability (the sheer absurdity of existence!), when the familiar order collapses and a sense of certainty gives way to anxiety and uncertainty.
Engaging with social roles — artist, art manager, student, daughter, partner — she considers them not as fixed definitions, but as temporary points of support. These roles create a sense of safety and predictability, yet demand constant maintenance and repetition. Movement within this framework becomes compulsory: to work, to study, to care, to be useful, in order to preserve one’s identity within predefined scenarios (this, too, is absurd!).
Through her work, the artist raises the question of what remains beyond roles and functions. What happens to identity at the moment when points of reference are lost? Who is a person outside familiar social constructions? (absurd!) The artist’s practice does not offer definitive answers, but instead creates spaces of uncertainty in which the viewer encounters experiences of disorientation, slowing down, and the necessity of re-posing the question of one’s own identity — beyond expectations, habits, and social roles.

Studying at CSM was where design stopped being just a skill and became a way of thinking.
The Graphic Design program pushed me to merge technique with concept, discipline with creativity, and to engage thoughtfully with the evolving language of contemporary art.

Artist Statement
The visual philosophy of my paintings was shaped under the influence of the English school — the ability to combine the raw sincerity of the image with the material density of the brushstroke, as developed in the 20th century by Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud. My practice merges the discipline of observation with the deliberate deformation of form: I employ graphic compositional techniques as well as collage-based solutions to heighten the tension between reality and its distortion.
I work across painterly and graphic methods, combining multilayered textures of paint, crumpled or smoothed spaces, and abrupt brushstrokes that preserve the trace of movement and time. This approach allows me to position my works in the space between empathy and detachment — the point at which the desire to interpret and explore the subject emerges.
